Andrew J. Toland III is an extremely compassionate, experienced and talented trial lawyer who concentrates his practice in complex civil litigation primarily representing plaintiffs in catastrophic injury matters, including medical malpractice cases, wrongful death cases, product liability cases and cases involving major collisions. He also handles a select number of employment litigation matters.
Mr. Toland is a 1983 graduate of the University of Chicago, where he obtained a B.A. degree with honors in the University’s Politics, Economics, Rhetoric and Law program. In 1986, he obtained a juris doctor degree from Cornell Law School.
Mr. Toland has served as counsel in some of the largest multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements in the mid-Atlantic region. He possesses remarkable legal acumen and excels at presenting complex legal issues and factual information into clear and convincing written and oral arguments.
Mr. Toland is a member of the Maryland Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and has argued appeals in federal and state appellate courts.
